April marks the Month of the Military Child

This is a fantastic opportunity to recognise, and celebrate, the unique experiences of children from military families.

The month is orchestrated with support from various charities, schools, and other MOD departments. You will see the purple logo and dandelion image pop up in lots of places!

A diverse array of events and activities grace the calendar, spanning from art and poetry competitions to gatherings at military bases and schools.

An annual highlight is ‘Purple Up! Day’ on the last Friday of the month, encouraging all to don something purple in solidarity.
