Harriet Morris
Trustee
It’s an honour to be appointed as a trustee to the Naval Families Federation and be given the opportunity to help represent our unique and special community.
I served in the Royal Navy as a Logistics Officer from 2000 to 2021 and enjoyed a fulfilling and varied career with roles at sea, in the HQ, training future leaders and helping people to fulfil their potential. I left the RN to undertake a senior management position in the Primary Care sector of the NHS in Hampshire; I hope to bring my experience and skills from both my time in the RN and now the wider public service to the charity’s board.
My decision to volunteer was greatly influenced by my experience of first being in a serving couple with a dependent, to now being the partner of a service person and the desire to help people navigate the challenges we all experience during our lives.
