Visa Fee Increase
The Government has announced that visa fees will be increasing from today, 4 October 2023. Home Office immigration and nationality fees: 4 October 2023
We have outlined the main visa fees and routes that our families use below for your comparisons:
Visa Fees and Routes | 6 Apr 2023 | 4 Oct 2023 |
---|---|---|
Standard Visit Visa | £100 | £115 |
Route to Settlement for families | £1,538 | £1,846 |
Indefinite Leave to Enter | £2,404 | £2,885 |
Indefinite Leave to Remain | £2,404 | £2,885 |
Naturalisation* | £1,250 | £1,500 |
Registration as a British Citizen (Child) | £1,012 | £1,214 |
Whilst we appreciate these fees are expensive, it is important to consider that compared to your UK civilian counterparts, Appendix Armed Forces generally grants 5 years on initial application (depending on leave date of RN service), compared to the 2.5 years on the civilian Family Member route and you are exempt from Immigration Health Surcharges which saves approximately £6,223 per family member on a 5 year route to settlement.
